It’s been an honor to serve as your Councilmember since 2022, and I currently serve as Vice-Mayor. I’m a former nonprofit director, California Public Utilities Commission Intervenor and small business owner.
My priorities are: preserve Sebastopol's small town character; enhance community vitality; support a thriving business community; embrace inclusivity of public opinion; and to be a watchdog on all environmental issues.
I’m committed to public health and safety, fiscal responsibility, improving our parks, roads, water and sewer infrastructure, and supporting the arts. I’m communicative and collaborative. I bring integrity, positivity, and I listen to the public and research the issues in order to make thoughtful decisions.
Some of my Council accomplishments include: preserving public comments at the beginning of meetings, city sponsorships of events, re-establishing annual goal setting, land acknowledgment, and helping restore the Labyrinth of Life Teen Memorial. I’ve served on the Budget, Climate Action, and other city adhoc committees; Zero Waste Sonoma and Russian River Watershed boards; and held liaison positions with local nonprofit groups.
I am a mother, grandmother, gardener, artist and Sebastopol resident for 38 years. I respectfully ask for your vote for Sebastopol City Council.
